Venue 4/24 is available for you to create your own vision. Our main gig is preventing & ending human trafficking; our side hustle is Venue 4/24. We operate as a DIY (do it yourself), non-staffed venue rental: book your date, receive instructions, make yourself at home, enjoy your event or gathering!
Our pricing structure is simple: $85 an hour (excludes weddings).
We are located at 2306 Bedford Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503.

We can comfortably seat up to 64 people with room to make accommodations as needed (up to 80 seated or 100 cocktail-style). Our inviting atmosphere and open layout can be transformed to fit your vision!

Can I come in early to set up? We operate as an hourly rental, you have access to the space within the hour you book. Due to the DIY style of our event venue, we have guests booking regularly and are unable to provide access to renters outside of their reserved times.The space is used and flipped between each use.
Where should I park? The Bedford Exchange Building parking lot is available to you and your guests in addition to the Mission Thrift parking lot across Bedford and any street-side parking that you can find. Please avoid Elizabeth's, Miriam's House, and Bentley's parking areas.
What areas are available to me? The banquet room with farm tables, the meeting room with soft seating and a conference table, and the bathrooms are available to our renters. The space beyond the 4 other doors is our secure office and storage space. Please do not use or enter this space unless a staff representative is present and escorts you through.
How do I gain access and lock up? You will receive a key code 24 hours upon arrival.
Where can I access water and ice? We have two sinks in our restrooms that can be used for water if you are not drinking it. If you want drinking water, we recommend bringing in bottles. The 7/11 across Bedford Ave is conveniently located if you need ice for your event.
What appliances are available? At this time we have a fridge and freezer, a microwave, and a toaster oven that you are welcome to use.
Can I move furniture? Yes, you may rearrange any of the furniture, however, it must be returned to its original position after your event. Please take pictures before so you know you are returning the items to their original places. Our farm tables are especially heavy and unwieldy, and Venue 4/24 will not be responsible for any injuries or damages sustained as a result of moving furniture. Renters can move furniture at their own risk.
Can I burn candles? You may use real candles as long as the flame is protected by a glass hurricane. This includes both pillar and taper candles.
How do I play music? A speaker is located at the ceiling on the cross beam at the far side of the room and is Bluetooth-enabled. The top button turns on the speaker, the middle allows it to connect to a Bluetooth device.
What do I need to do before I leave? All food and personal items must be removed from the space by the end of your rental period. Any tables used should be wiped down and free from spills or splashes. Please remove all trash to the dumpster across from the primary entrance. Spot clean the floor of any large trash or debris, especially food! Return the thermostats to 65 degrees if you changed them throughout your event. We ask that you kindly leave our venue as you found it so that it can continue to benefit the community and grow the work of Freedom 4/24. Thank you for your consideration.
Is anything not allowed? We ask that you do not use glitter, confetti, rice, dried petals, or any other elements that are thrown and very difficult to clean up. A charge of $50 will be administered if we find that significant clean-up is necessary after your event.
What is the WIFI? The WIFI password will be give by email 24 hours before your event.
Can I serve Liquor? In order to serve liquor at your event we require that you obtain a liquor license as well as event insurance.
Thermostats There are two thermostats. The first is located in the main event room behind the (Metal thing) and the second is located in the second room.
Event Insurance We do require you to obtain event insurance if you are booking a wedding with us.
